How it works

How AZO works

From the counter to the courier's last scan: what happens to your parcel, and what you'll see.

Sending

At the counter

Walk in to a counter

Bring your parcel to an AZO counter. They weigh it, tell you the price and book it with the right courier. You pay the counter, and leave with a slip and a tracking link.

Coming soon

Book a pickup online

Enter the PIN code you're sending to, choose a courier that delivers there, and book a pickup on AZO. A counter's rider collects the parcel from your door, and the counter tells you the price once it's weighed.

At the counter

Staff weigh and measure your parcel, tell you the price and the courier, and record it on AZO. You pay at the counter, by cash or UPI, whichever they take. You get a slip with a QR code, and they can send you the tracking link on WhatsApp.

Following it

With the link

Open it from WhatsApp, or scan the QR code on your slip. No sign-in. It shows the parcel's progress, never your name or phone number.

By signing in

Sign in with your mobile number. You'll see every parcel sent by you or to you, its courier, and a button to call the counter.

What the steps mean

Pickup booked
You've booked a pickup online and the counter has it on its list. Booking online is coming soon; this step never happens when you walk in.
Picked up
The counter's rider has collected it from your door. Only for a pickup booked online, which is coming soon.
At the counter
The counter has taken your parcel in.
Dispatched
The counter has handed it to Trackon, DTDC or another courier, with its AWB.
In transit
The courier is moving it; each of the courier's scans is added to your timeline automatically.
Out for delivery
It's with the courier's delivery staff today.
Delivered
It has arrived.
Delivery problem
The courier reported a problem; call the counter.
Returning to sender
The courier is taking it back to the sender instead of delivering it (a return to origin); call the counter.
Returned to sender
It is back with the sender. It was not delivered.
Cancelled
The counter cancelled it before handing it to the courier.

Who sees what

The sender sees everything about their parcel, including the amount paid and how it was paid. The receiver sees its progress, its courier and the counter's number. A shared link shows its progress and its courier, never your name or phone number.
